PICTURE the scene: you’re dead chuffed with the new swimming costume you ordered online. But when you go to show your mum, she recoils in horror before telling you it “leaves nothing to the imagination”.
One person who knows a little something about this is Haley Kalil – a former Miss USA contestant who recently took part in a Sports Illustrated photoshoot.
Before her daughter headed to the notoriously sexy shoot earlier this month, Haley’s mum made her promise that she’d model “one pieces only”.
Although Haley, 27, agreed to her strict mum’s rule, she managed to find a cheeky way around it on set – and us girls can seriously relate.
Posting a behind-the-scenes clip on Instagram, Haley joked that the white swimsuit – which is completely open at the back – still counts as a one-piece.
“When your mom tells you that she wants you to only shoot in one pieces,” she wrote. “MOM IT’S TECHNICALLY A ONE PIECE!”
Although Haley’s swimming costume looks like any other ordinary design at first glance, her mum might not be so happy about how it looks from behind – complete with a criss-cross back and thong.
In the clip, the model jokes: “The rules were a one piece, so…”
Needless to say, Haley’s post left followers in hysterics and the clip has been viewed over 165,000 times.
One replied: “If Business in the front, party in the back was a swimsuit!”
Another added: “LMAO this would totally be me.”
A third wrote: “Wow the back half of the bathing suit is missing!?!!”
