John Holland-Kaye says testing could be up and running in as little as a fortnight to cut time in quarantine for British holidaymakers.
It comes as Boris Johnson revealed fears that a second wave of Covid-19 could hit the UK in the same time frame.

Meanwhile, the latest coronavirus death toll in the UK stands at 45,961
